National Surgical Care Invests in Surgery Centers in Loveland, Colorado and Davis, CaliforniaSeptember 22, 2006 -- National Surgical Care today announced that it has made a majority investment in two additional surgery centers. The first, Loveland Surgery Center in Loveland, Colorado, has three operating rooms and extended recovery capabilities. It is a multi-specialty facility focused on orthopedic surgery and has a nationally recognized program for spinal procedures. The second, Davis Surgery Center in Davis, California, is a multi-specialty, orthopedic-dominant surgery center with two operating rooms. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed. Commenting on the announcement, Richard D. Pence, Chief Operating Officer of NSC, said, "We are pleased to partner with the physicians and employees of these outstanding facilities. Loveland Surgery Center is widely known for its spine program and is well positioned for continued growth. Likewise, Davis Surgery Center has an excellent reputation, particularly in the area of hand surgery, and is poised to extend its success in the future.
