Marquee Holdings Inc., Parent of AMC Entertainment Inc., Files Registration Statement for Proposed Public Offering of Common StockDecember 11, 2006—Marquee Holdings Inc., the parent company of AMC Entertainment Inc., announced today that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with the proposed initial public offering of shares of Marquee Holdings' common stock by certain of its stockholders. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not been determined. The offering of common stock will be made only by means of a prospectus.
