CCMP Capital was established in 2006 to continue the successful investment strategy developed and implemented by the firm’s founders as members of J.P. Morgan Partners, LLC and its predecessors: Chemical Venture Partners, Manufacturers Hanover and Chase Capital Partners. References to the investment activities and investments by CCMP Capital prior to 2006 refer to the investment activities of and transactions by CCMP Capital current and former investment professionals while at these predecessors.

Founding of Chemical Venture Partners, a unit of Chemical Bank

1991

Chemical Bank merges with Manufacturers Hanover

Manufacturers Hanover Capital Partners merges into Chemical Venture Partners

1996

Chemical Bank merges with Chase Manhattan Bank

Chemical Ventures Partners renamed Chase Capital Partners

2000

Chase merges with JPMorgan

Chase Capital Partners renamed JPMorgan Partners

JPMorgan Partners Global Investors fund closes with $5.4 billion dedicated to buyout & growth equity investments

2006

CCMP Capital is formed from JPMorgan Partners spin-out

CCMP Capital Investors II, a $3.4 billion buyout & growth equity fund, closes

CCMP Capital Investors III, a $3.6 billion buyout & growth equity fund, closes
